Camera-Ready Instructions

Instructions for ACM eRights and camera-ready submission for ACM PQQS 2026.

Authors of all accepted submissions must complete the ACM eRights process and submit the final camera-ready materials through PQQS 2026 HotCRP.

Important Deadlines

  • ACM eRights: October 5, 2026, 11:59:59 PM AoE (Anywhere on Earth)
  • Final PDF + Source Files: October 11, 2026, 11:59:59 PM AoE

Steps for Authors

1. Prepare the Final (Camera-ready) Version of the Paper

Address the reviewer comments and prepare the final paper using the required ACM format.

The page limits are as follows:

  • Regular: 12 pages + up to 4 pages for references and appendices
  • Short: 6 pages + up to 3 pages for references and appendices
  • Poster/Demo: 2 pages

In addition, Poster papers need to prepare a poster file in PDF or PNG format (< 600MB) as per the Poster Preparation Guidelines and upload it to HotCRP as supplementary materials.

Demo papers need to prepare and upload as supplementary materials: a recorded demo video in MP4 (H.264) or WebM format (< 600MB) and optionally a poster in PDF or PNG format (< 600MB). See the Demo Preparation Guidelines. They can also present a live demo at the conference demo session.

Shepherded Papers: they follow these guidelines for preparation of final version as appropriate to the type of their paper while updating the paper working with the Shepherd.

2. Update the Final Title

  • Regular Paper: Keep the original paper title.
  • Short Paper: Add a subtitle “(Short Paper)” to the title.
Example: Post-Quantum Authentication for IoT Devices (Short Paper)
  • Poster Paper: Add a prefix “Poster: ” before the title.
Example: Poster: Post-Quantum Authentication for IoT Devices
  • Demo Paper: Add a prefix “Demonstration: ” before the title.
Example: Demonstration: Post-Quantum Authentication for IoT Devices
  • Invited Speaker Paper/Extended Abstract: Add a subtitle “(Invited Paper)” to the title.
  • Keynote Paper/Extended Abstract: Add a subtitle “(Invited Paper)” to the title.

Use the same final title in HotCRP, ACM eRights, and the camera-ready paper. If you have completed eRights and need to update the title due to the above requirements, please contact the PC chairs at pqqs26-pcchairs@acm.org so that they can work with you to update the title.

3. Verify Authors

Verify names, author order, affiliations, and email addresses. Authors may be reordered but may not be added or removed from the accepted submission.

4. Complete ACM eRights

Complete ACM eRights by October 5, 2026, 11:59:59 PM AoE.

How to work on the eRights and submit it:

  • Open your existing accepted paper in HotCRP.
  • Verify that you are working with the correct Paper ID.
  • Click “edit”.
  • Find the Final Version preparation area.
  • Find “Fill out e-Rights form”.
  • After completing eRights, add the ACM-provided copyrights information (LaTeX code available in the HotCRP final submissions preparation area) to your final paper. Do not copy this information from another ACM paper.

5. Validate the Final PDF and Sources

Before submission:

  • Inspect every page of the final PDF.
  • Verify embedded fonts, figures, tables, equations, references, margins, page limits, and ACM rights information.
  • Prepare a complete source package as a .zip or .tar.gz archive containing all files needed to reproduce the PDF. Sources must use the official ACM LaTeX or Word templates only (no other formats).
  • Test the source package by building the paper from a clean directory.

6. Submit Through HotCRP

By October 11, 2026, 11:59:59 PM AoE:

  • Open your existing accepted paper in PQQS 2026 HotCRP.
  • Do not create a new submission.
  • Click “edit”.
  • Upload the final PDF under Final Version.
  • Upload the complete source package under Camera-Ready Source Files.
  • Verify/update the permitted final metadata.
  • Save the submission and reopen it to verify the uploaded files.

The same Paper ID must be used. The original submission, reviews, and decision remain associated with that paper.

7. Final Check

Before the deadline, confirm that the title, authors, ACM rights information, PDF, source package, and HotCRP metadata are all correct. No changes to the final camera-ready submission will be permitted after October 11, 2026, 11:59:59 PM AoE.
